Sales Policy 

High Country Rabbits is a closed rabbitry with few exceptions. This means that for the privacy of our home and the safety of our young family and animals, we will meet you at public locations, shows, or with your transporter for you to acquire your new animal. You will be responsible for arranging and paying for all transport fees though we will do our best to assist you in this process. If acquiring an animal with delivery to a National Show or other cooped event, you will be responsible for cooping and care for the duration of that event. If we are attending a carrying cage show, we are more than happy to transport your new animal to that show with no additional fee as space allows. Animals will not be held longer than 10 days without pre-arranged transport dates. Animals needing held longer than this may be subject to additional care fees. 
Every animal to leave our rabbitry has had a complete veterinary health exam prior to transport. To our knowledge, all animals are healthy at the time of posting and actual sale, have not been exposed to any disease causing agents, and show no signs of illness, disease, or parasitism. Our animals are dewormed based upon her fecal egg count sampling, and routine deworming for all juvenile animals with a rotating anti-parasitic drug program. We do not offer at this time a guarantee or warranty beyond this. We cannot control external factors once an animals leaves the confines of our care be that at a show, during transport, or at your residence. This includes but is not limited to; morbidity or mortality secondary to exposure to other animals during transport or exhibition, extreme temperature fluctuations or stress, travel stress, dietary transition issues or malnourishment (feed and/or water), accidents and/or trauma, unsanitary conditions or inappropriate travel confinement, contaminated or toxic feeds, etc. We do recommend an initial and subsequent annual veterinary health exams and parasite diagnostics to maintain the health of your new purchase. Under no circumstance will we be responsible for any regulatory, medical, dental, or surgical costs accrued nor are we responsible for personal injury or property damage caused by your purchase through chewing, digging, biting, scratching, etc. 
We do not guarantee the future show potential of any animal. We will present the animal to the best of our knowledge, and will often provide you with our hands-on impression of the animal; however, everyone conditions animals differently and may evaluate animals differently, and there can be no guarantee how your new animal will show next to other animals on the table. We also cannot guarantee future fertility or mothering ability of an animal even if they produced well for us. We do our best to ensure that you are happy with your animal, receive what your expect, and have a productive show or brood animal, but we under no circumstances provide any promises. 
We will not hold without full payment and pre-arranged transport or pickup date. PayPal is our preferred method of payment for all pre-arranged sales. All transport and care fees will be your responsibility. If an animal requires airline shipping, you will need to purchase an airline approved carrier, crocks, and bottles to be shipped to our locations, purchase the airline fares, and arrange drop-off/pick-up times with High Country Rabbits prior to the purchase of the fare. All rabbits shipped by air will require an interstate health certificate at a rate of $75 per form or international health certificate on a pre-approved basis for $250 per form. Preference will be given to out of area purchasers though we do also sell locally. We reserve the right to refuse anyone or terminate as we see fit. If we terminate on our end or the rabbit becomes unfit, we will provide a full refund of fees paid to us; however, if you change your mind, any and all payments will be forfeited. 
We do our very best to be accommodating and do occasionally make exceptions on a case by case basis. Inquiries or purchase indicate that you have read and agree to this policy. Thank you so much for your interest, and we sincerely hope that we can provide you with a lovely High Country animal.
